One of the first things you’ll notice about Sue Ann O’Neal is an infectious smile that is bright enough to rival any spotlight. While she is, without doubt, a very attractive lady, what really comes shining through is the beauty of her spirit. And if that weren’t enough she just happens to be terrifically talented. This native of Springfield, Missouri has honed her craft since she debuted at three years of age in the children’s choir of her uncle’s church, Seminole Baptist. There was little doubt among her family, friends and listeners that she was destined to share her gift of music with the world.

As a teenager with her first Sears and Roebuck guitar, like many she dreamed of leaving the Ozarks, seeing the Grand Ole Opry and-one day-becoming a star. Her dream came true, due in large part to her hard work, dedication and love of performing. The same talents that led to her being one of the stars of Presley’s Mountain Music Jubilee in Branson for several years, Sue Ann’s dreams didn’t stop there-and neither did the opportunities. The same hard work and dedication that gave root to the dream have taken her across the continent several times through the years.

The late BoxCar Willie said of her, “Once you have heard Sue Ann sing you have heard the best of Branson.” BoxCar was right but the statement could be enlarged to say you have heard one of the best anywhere. A statement that been given a strong foundation in her list of achievements: “Album of The Year” awarded by Great Empire Broadcasting Company; national concert tours, television appearances on ABC, CBS, and TNN as well as producing her own CD “Touching Jesus,” which reflects her gospel roots and her beautiful country sound. "Touching Jesus," the title cut reached number 7 on the Christian Country Chart. Her next release "American Farmer" is due for release by the 2nd quart of 2004. She will also be releasing at the same time her first music video "American Farmer" produced by Sue Ann O'Neal and BIMS.

Her list of credits continue to grow with the endeavors of recent months. She also wrote and produced a show for the Hunterdon Hills Playhouse, a New Jersey dinner theater off Broadway. Continuing to sing at various churches and women's conferences. She travels to perform with her “Farmer’s Allmanac Band.” Sue Ann runs the gamut with songs of her own and works by Bob Wills, Elvis, Hank Williams, Dolly Parton, The Crabb Family and more. Sue Ann O’Neal is a talent that has blossomed over the years, but this is only the beginning.

Sue Ann lives near Ozark, Missouri with her husband Richard Daniel Clark, the creator of the American Highrise Mural, the image that was unveiled on the outside back wall of The Grand Palace Theatre, a quarter of an acre in size, honoring the American Armed Forces, Firefighters, and Law Enforcement. A television special of the unveiling "In Memory of Angels and Heroes" has aired in Southwest Missouri, Oklahoma and New York City. See www.americanhighrise.com for more information.
